Collaborative Seeing

In this lecture Professor Wendy Luttrell, from City University of New York, will discuss a multimodal digital narrative approach called, collaborative seeing. Collaborative seeing combines a philosophical/epistemological stance, a set of methodological protocols, and an analytic process which will be demonstrated through the use of case material gathered in Professor Luttrell’s on-going longitudinal, visual ethnography Children Framing Childhoods and its follow-up study, Looking Back.

This lecture is a collaborative event hosted jointly by NOVELLA (Narratives of Varied Everyday Lives and Linked Approaches) and MODE (Multimodal Methodologies for Digital Environments), two nodes of the National Centre for Research Methods.
